Jackeline Ramos is an associate attorney at De Varona Law, where she focuses her practice on commercial litigation, business transactions, real estate, estate planning, and education law. She represents individuals, families, and businesses with a deliberate and disciplined approach rooted in preparation, accountability, and a clear understanding of client priorities. Ms. Ramos ensures continuity, accountability, and strategic oversight throughout her clients’ matters and approaches each case with the seriousness and precision that complex legal disputes require.
Ms. Ramos earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University, where she majored in Criminology and minored in English Literature. This academic background sharpened her analytical reasoning and strengthened her ability to produce precise, persuasive legal writing. She earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where she refined her legal judgment, advocacy skills, and understanding of how legal strategy translates into real-world outcomes for clients.
Throughout her career, Ms. Ramos has represented clients from the earliest stages of a matter through resolution, including trial. Her prior experience in first-party insurance defense litigation required rigorous factual investigation, early risk assessment, and the ability to navigate complex procedural frameworks in contested matters. That experience continues to inform her work in commercial litigation, where case assessment, risk mitigation, and strategically positioned settlement negotiations are critical to advancing client objectives efficiently and effectively.
Ms. Ramos’s practice spans both litigation and advisory roles. She advises businesses and individuals in commercial disputes and transactions, assists clients with real estate matters involving both transactional and contentious issues, and works closely with families on estate planning designed to protect assets and preserve legacy. Her work in education law is informed by both her legal training and firsthand experience within educational systems, allowing her to provide counsel that is legally sound and practically grounded.
Before entering the legal profession, Ms. Ramos served as an educator with Miami-Dade County Public Schools and was a Co-Director of the Civic Engagement Academy, where she coached student teams competing in local, state, and national law- and civics-based competitions. She currently mentors students through Office of the Citizen, a community-based youth civic program, and advises homeschool families, educators, and micro-school operators on home-education-related matters.
Ms. Ramos is a member of The Florida Bar and the Trial Lawyers Section. She is fluent in Spanish, serves as a servant leader within her church, and remains deeply committed to building community. She is married and the proud parent of two children, roles that continue to shape her perspective on advocacy, stewardship, and legacy.
