Mayelin Rodriguez represents individuals and businesses in a wide variety of civil and commercial matters, whether litigious or transactional. Ms. Rodriguez previously practiced in the area of class actions and multidistrict litigation. She gained extensive experience working with the team of lawyers litigating In re Zantac (Ranitidine) Products Liability Litigation, MDL 2924, one of the largest multidistrict, products liability litigation in recent years. Before she became an attorney, Ms. Rodriguez worked on Engle-
progeny tobacco products liability cases as a litigation paralegal for almost six years.
Ms. Rodriguez was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, where she became a licensed attorney, earning a Bachelor of Laws, summa cum laude, at the
Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra. Upon moving to South Florida, she pursued another law degree, earning a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, magna cum laude.
While in law school, she served as Associate Bilingual Editor of the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law, and was a member of the inaugural class of the Honors Program and of the Foreign Lawyers Association (FLAN).
